- Practice data. To provide mock interviews and feedback, we collect the answers, recordings, or text you submit during practice sessions, along with your scores and progress over time.
- Communications. If you contact us for support, we keep the messages you send and our replies.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service, used to keep it working and improve it.
- Payment information. If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by a third-party provider (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not collect or store your full payment-card details.

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its interview-practice features;
- Generate personalized feedback and track your progress;
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support;

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your Choices”).
Your Choices & Rights
- Review and update your account information from within the app.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
- Stop all further data collection by uninstalling the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Children's Privacy
SzewMate is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.

SzewMate is a practice and preparation tool. It does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, or any guarantee of a visa outcome, and it is not a substitute for a licensed attorney or official guidance. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government authorities. SzewMate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency.
Subscriptions & payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Purchases are billed through the app store you downloaded from and are subject to that store's terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings.
Intellectual property
The SzewMate name, logo, mascot, content, and software are owned by SzewMate and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SzewMate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
